What is Wordy?
Wordy is a fun way to learn languages. Wordy is a teaching game. It helps you memorize lyrics, poems, dialogs, or just any kind of text that you want to learn. It's a nice way to learn languages, memorize words. There are three different categories at this moment: lyrics, poems, and specific language learning materials. Most of the texts are in English for English learners, but you can find Hungarian, German, French and Italian texts, too. Actually there is no language limitation on this site. For the lyrics, you can usually find a video, too. So you can test your listening skills there. Just listen to the music, and type what you hear. How does it work?
It is a kind of hangman or word guessing game. You have to type words here, and if the word is in the text, it will be revealed. If you get stuck, you can click help, and you will be given one random word from the remaining text. Even if the help word appears in the text more than once, still only one will be revealed, so it is worth typing this word again.
